Section: Duas at the end of the meal
Narrated Anas: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), said, "Allah must be pleased with the servant who praises Allah for eating or drinking and praises Him for drinking."
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنِيْ هَذَا وَرَزَقَنِيْهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ اَطْعَمَنِيْ هٰذَا وَرَزَقَنِيْهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِّنِّيْ وَلَا قُوَّةٍ
Alhamdu lillaahil-lathee 'at'amanee haathaa, wa razaqaneehi, min ghayri hawlin minnee wa laa quwwah
Praise is to Allah Who has given me this food and sustained me with it though I was unable to doit and powerless.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If a person eats food and says these words, his previous sins will be forgiven."
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "if anyone drinks milk, he will say:
اَللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيهِ وَزِدْنَا مِنْهُ
اَللّٰهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيْهِ وَزِدْنَا مِنْهُ
Allaahumma baarik lanaa feehi wa zidnaa minhu
O Allah, bless us in it and give us more of it.
